The University of Aberdeen is seeking to appoint a collaborative self-starter for the role of Marketing Officer. We are at an exciting moment in our 528-year-history. Helping raise the profile of key subject areas across various Schools and a diverse product portfolio, the Marketing Officer will play a pivotal role attracting new undergraduate and postgraduate students to the University, using specialist product knowledge, commercial know-how, and strategic thinking to maximise marketing opportunities for a variety of domestic and international markets.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Officer will support the delivery of marketing activities, in line with the Schools\' strategic marketing priorities and the University\'s newly refreshed brand. The role will have a particular focus on the generation and development of School and programme-specific marketing content. With strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, and advanced understanding of market insights and data, the role will include content development, advertising, events, print and digital collateral development, market research, analytics and digital marketing campaigns.
