Working Conditions:

Roles available: 10 hours (2 hours Daily) Typically working hours Mon - Fri 17:00- 19:00. All staff to be off site by 20:10hrs. 10 - 15hrs per week annualised (Pending on your availability for overtime) Overtime available No Bank Holidays or Weekends unless agreed. Will involve standing, bending, lifting & carrying. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and dust. - PPE & uniform provided

Job Summary:

The school cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the school premises. They play a crucial role in ensuring that students, staff, and visitors have a safe and pleasant experience while at the school. The cleaner performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain the overall cleanliness of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas.

Qualifications/Experience:

Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial work is a plus. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a wider team. Understands COSHH & Risk Assessments - (Desirable) Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day. Strong understanding both verbal and written in English. EDBS must be held for this position. Applicants must be willing to undergo EDBS check prior starting this position.
