We are seeking a dedicated and RESPONSIBLE & EXPERIENCED Catering Assistant to join our agency for our private schools.

MONDAY -FRIDAY ASAP START

starting next week ideally !

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and catering menus. Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during food preparation and service. Help set up catering events, including arranging food displays and serving areas. Support the kitchen team with various tasks, including cooking, food preparation, and cleaning duties. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of catering services. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting any shortages to the supervisor.

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends or evenings as needed for events.
