About the Role
This role is based at the Clifton campus, however travel to our other campus may be required.
An opportunity has arisen to join the School of Social Sciences academic administration team as a School Administrator. The School offers a diverse range of course provision and has active links with many external organisations offering a challenging and varied working environment for members of the administrative team. This particular role is based within the Institute of Health and Allied Professions area of the School provision within the new purpose built base building on the Clifton campus. The building is equipped with all the requirements of training medical professionals and is a busy hub of activity for trainees.
We are seeking applicants with a positive can-do attitude who are able to work proactively and flexibly in a fast-paced team-based environment and have the ability to respond positively to change.
Providing frontline service to students, academic and administrative staff, external funding organisations and regulatory bodies, you will quickly and effectively build and maintain strong customer-focused working relationships. The role requires excellent ICT proficiency and strong digital capabilities which will help us to improve service delivery. In addition, you should be able to prioritise your own workload and be an effective team player with good attention to detail.
An understanding of the issues currently affecting Higher Education is desirable. Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and University regulations and procedures would be an advantage.
