School Administrator and Receptionist
to join our team at
Westland Farm in Shamley Green
.
This is a
term-time role
(school holidays off), ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment supporting young people with social, emotional, mental health and neurodiverse needs. We warmly welcome

While the position is primarily term-time, we are also happy to offer a
full-year role
(including non-term time) for candidates who would prefer to work throughout the year. In this case, the salary would be
increased accordingly

Based in a working farm environment, this role combines key administrative responsibilities with providing a warm, welcoming front-of-house presence for families, visitors and professionals. You will work closely with our site leadership, education, therapy, and operations teams to help the provision run smoothly and professionally every day.
This is a varied, rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, discretion, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to our values-led approach.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as first point of contact for the site, managing reception and visitor processes
Handling communication with families, staff and external professionals
Supporting safeguarding records, admissions, and school documentation
Coordinating meetings, schedules, registers, and site logistics
Managing and maintaining compliance-related paperwork and operational administration
Supporting wider administrative needs and contributing to the provision's values and ethos
We are looking for someone who:
Is friendly, professional and highly organised
Has strong administrative experience (education, SEN, health, or care settings preferred)
Can manage sensitive information confidentially and professionally
Is adaptable, resilient, and able to multitask in a busy environment
Is confident with IT systems, databases and record-keeping
Is passionate about supporting the wellbeing and development of young people
Is comfortable working within a unique, outdoor, farm-based school setting
