Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be adept at assembling, erecting, and dismantling scaffolding systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in various environments, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations at all times.

Responsibilities



Assemble and erect scaffolding structures according to specifications and safety guidelines. Dismantle scaffolding systems safely and efficiently after project completion. Ensure all scaffold structures are plumb, level, and secure for use. Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, masons, and electricians as needed. Fabricate scaffolding components using power tools and hand tools as required. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding for safety compliance and structural integrity. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency. Assist in painting or finishing tasks on completed scaffold structures when necessary.

Requirements



Proven experience in scaffold building or related construction roles. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction environments. Ability to plumb structures accurately to ensure stability. Experience with masonry work is advantageous but not essential. Basic electrical knowledge is a plus for working alongside other trades. Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Pay: From 15.00 per hour
