Hitachi Ltd has started to deploy a common S/4 HANA template across the group with the goal of reducing the number of ERP instances and implementing global standard processes for Core (Finance) and Common (Procurement, Sales and Logistics) business functions.

As part of this strategy Hitachi Europe is leading the implementation of global support function (G-AMO) and wishes to recruit an SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO (RTR) Consultant who can; oversee support for RTR processes, represent RTR process design for future roll-outs, protect the integrity of the Hitachi template (aka NEWTON) and work with key users across the Finance community to maximise their business performance.

What you\'ll be doing

The RTR SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO (RTR) Consultant is responsible for governing the RTR Process in Newton Shared platform, with a primary responsibility to protect the integrity of the template during support operations and project roll-outs.

There are three aspects to the SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO (RTR) Consultant role:

(1) Representing the RTR process in support operations and project implementations

(2) Collaborate with the G-AMO partner for support of RTR processes,

(3) Consult with the Finance key user community to improve business processes and make best use of the NEWTON platform.

The SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO (RTR) Consultant will have a full understanding of the Business Processes the application supports and what the capabilities of the application are. The Application Consultant will use their understanding to pro-actively suggest process and application improvements and work with the Finance Community and G-AMO partner to prioritise and deliver process enhancements.

On a day-to-day basis the SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO (RTR) Consultant will have a good understanding of the current support and development workload and the pipeline for their application area and to communicate this to stakeholders and customers.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:

During projects, validate identified GAPs and review KDD\'s (including KDD recommendations)

Create Functional Specifications and business blueprint documents for process enhancements and WRICEF Objects

Maintain central library of NEWTON Core KDD\'s

Support Key users of Newton Core with advice, guidance and process knowledge

Define regression test requirements, support and validate regression test results

Coordinate delivery of enhancements and high priority incidents

Represent Newton RTR on related projects (eg Ariba, MDG etc)
