Job Description
Our client is looking for a SAP Finance Systems Administrator on a contract basis, located in Aberdeen
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide ongoing support to the business globally on all aspects of SAP master data build and maintenance
- Continual monitoring of Global master data functional mailboxes and timely delivery of requests
- Specific maintenance & creation activities covering:
- Vendor and customer accounts
- Profit and cost centre
- Materials
- Activity types
- Plants
- Other master data elements as necessary
- Provide back-up support for SAP Financials including build activities surrounding new company code build requests, new tax code requests etc.
- Communication and co-ordination of SAP global month end close schedule
- Provide assistance with the running of specific month end processes
- Involvement in master data clean-up in preparation for S/4 HANA migration
Preferred Experience:
- Experience using the SAP transactional system is essential (SAP ECC) in similar system administrator role
- Technical knowledge and application of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 HANA is essential
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Ability to efficiently analyse large data-sets
- Accounting qualification preferred but not necessary
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
