Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP development and a passion for creating efficient and effective solutions. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and database management, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces within the SAP environment. Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and implement database structures to support data modelling initiatives. Optimise existing code for performance improvements and maintainability. Conduct thorough testing of developed applications to ensure functionality and reliability. Assist in troubleshooting issues related to SAP applications and provide timely resolutions. Work with data warehousing solutions to integrate data from various sources. Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Skills

Proficient in SAP ABAP programming language with a solid understanding of SAP modules. Strong experience in database design and management, particularly with SQL. Familiarity with Linux server environments is advantageous. Knowledge of Java programming is a plus for integration tasks. Experience with data modelling techniques and tools, including SSIS for data integration processes. Ability to vaticinate future trends in technology and adapt solutions accordingly. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
