Job Description

We are recruiting for a Salon Manager to take over the running of our well established, large and popular salon which is celebrating 21 years in business in 2025.

You will be responsible for the selection and recruitment of further team members following the salons recent dynamic refurbishment.

Keen to drive the business forward, you will introduce treatment plans and product houses as you see fit, organise promotional events and periodic offers, motivate and train the team where necessary, and be skilled and qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Your role will initially be to treat clients along side managing the salon, but should transition as the team grows to a less hands on role, though still covering clients for staff sickness/holidays and treating walk in customers when the rest of the team is busy.

A sound knowledge and ability to perform the treatments offered is essential. Treatments such as nail extensions, mani / pedi, gel polish, threading, tinting, spray tans and lash extensions, generate the majority of the business currently. In addition we would like to increase our market presence in other treatments we offer, such as massage, hot stones, facials, and waxing and aesthetic treatments.

A good grasp of marketing and use of social media coupled with confident sales is also a bonus.

As you prove yourself to be a professional and capable Salon Manager with an established team of technicians working well under your guidance, your profit share could potentially boost your salary by 20k+. This is a rare opportunity to essentially run your own salon, but without the majority of associated headaches such as paying the bills, paperwork, accounts, set-up costs etc. You will have the opportunity to drive the direction of the business and make key decisions. This role would suit somebody that has previously managed a salon, or an experienced technician with the confidence and potential to step up and manage a team.

Excellent renumeration package on offer for the right candidate. 30k - 40k basic salary plus benefits, plus generous profit share.
