Job Title: Sales Representative - OCTG



Reporting to:

Manufacturing Manager - OCTG



Nature of the Position: Permanent - Full Time



Location: Fordoun, Aberdeenshire



Role Overview:



The job holder will provide sales support for the OCTG UK business, with an aim to nurture existing client relationships and expand customer base for manufacturing services.

Key Responsibilities:



Inside Sales



Undertaking the inside sales function including spot business quotations, proposals, sourcing of materials, negotiations and development of pricing structure

Contract Management



Developing and maintaining effective relationships with customers in order to service contract agreements in an efficient manner, promoting service excellence in all activities Managing customer orders through the manufacturing / logistics process to ensure timely delivery Actively participating in pricing and cost analysis of customer operations in order to maximise profitability for Hunting Developing and maintaining key performance indicators for all long term contracts

External Sales



Being proactive in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the UK for manufacturing services, including new growth areas, trends, customers, products and services Contacting potential clients to establish procure and set up face to face meetings Possessing a good understanding of Hunting products and services and effectively promoting them within target organisations Creating and maintaining sales visit database and presenting weekly findings to the sales team Preparing and presenting persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of Hunting to prospective clients Attending seminars, conferences and events where appropriate, with an aim to increase client base

Budget and Forecasting



Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth Participating in the budgeting process for the OCTG UK business ensuring P&L costing and profit margins are monitored for efficiency and meet planned projections

Quality Assurance



Providing assistance to OCTG UK QA function as required to ensure operational continuity

Qualifications/Skills and Experience:



Essential:

Intensive Contract/Sales Management experience in a similar, customer facing role Oil and Gas Industry experience with an understanding of the Oil and Gas market and competitor products Extensive experience in computerised internal sales/document control environment Excellent keyboard skills; knowledge of windows based software systems Hardworking, reliable and able to work under pressure Full UK Driving Licence Ability to work effectively in a team, and as an individual Ability to work well with minimal supervision, and use initiative to prioritise and complete tasks in peak periods Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to all levels within and outwith the organisation Experience on Microsoft AX/Dynamics 365 and the ability to interpret and present data
Desirable:

Degree qualification in an appropriate discipline to include a clear understanding of contracts and negotiation of same or equivalent Evaluation of Tenders/Contracts
