We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team in the generator sales industry. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, generating new business, and building long-lasting relationships with customers in both residential and commercial sectors. Your primary focus will be on selling power generators, related equipment, and services to meet the energy needs of diverse clients, including homeowners, businesses, and industrial facilities and sites. There will be cross-over responsibilities with our sister company Target Hire, but this will stay in the boundaries of Sales Hire.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Sales Growth:
Identify and target potential customers for both sales and hire through networking, referrals, and lead follow-up to generate new business.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their power requirements and offering tailored solutions.
Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of the company's generator products (diesel, petrol, portable, standby, etc.), services, and market trends. Provide technical expertise and advice to customers on product specifications, installation, and maintenance.
Sales Presentations & Proposals:
Deliver professional presentations to prospective customers, prepare quotes for both sales and hire, and develop customised proposals to close deals.
Customer Support:
Collaborate with technical and service staff members to ensure smooth delivery, installation, and after-sales support for customers.
Sales Reporting:
Track and report sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward sales goals using CRM software or other reporting tools.
Market Research:
Stay updated on industry trends in both sales and hire, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify business opportunities and competitive advantages.
Travel:
Travel to client locations as necessary to conduct site visits, product demonstrations, face-to-face meetings, and hire sites.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years of experience in B2B or B2C sales, ideally in the power generation, energy, or heavy equipment industries is preferred, but not ideal.
Education:
Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field experience is preferred but not required.
Skills:
Experience in the generator industry would be ideal, but not essential.
Proven history in the Sales industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
Technical aptitude and ability to understand generator specifications.
Self-motivated and driven with strong time management skills.
Ability to work independently (working from home may be included), and as part of a team.
Other Requirements:
Valid UK driver's license.
Registered to legally work in the UK.
Willingness to travel regularly within the designated sales/hire territory.
Benefits:
26,000-28,000 per annum.
Very competitive bonus structure.
25 Days holiday (+ bank holidays) per year - Increasing to 30 days holiday (+ bank holidays) after 5 years of service.
Car allowance to be discussed.
