As the Sales Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and streamlining the sales process, from the memorandum of sale to completion. This role involves building relationships with prospective purchasers, ensuring smooth sales journeys, and collaborating across departments to optimize efficiency. Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Lead and manage the sales operations team.
  • Deliver new build sales support from memorandum of sale to practical legal completion.
  • Manage resales for existing new build sites, maintaining the value in available stock.
  • Provide general sales support administration, including induction for new starters.
  • Operational management of compliance checks and services, ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
  • Implement and maintain efficient team process checks to ensure adherence to sales policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and track sales leads, ensuring prompt follow-up and timely updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Track sales metrics, report on KPIs, and analyse sales data to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives, assisting with contracts, negotiations, and other aspects of the sales process.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and a smooth customer journey.
  • Develop and implement efficient sales progress tracking systems, utilizing CRM tools.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Produce weekly sales progress reports and end-of-term reports.
  • Analyse sales data and trends, providing insights for strategy improvements.
  • Continuously improve sales processes and workflows to optimize efficiency.
  • Provide expertise on all matters pertaining to sales and resales, including legal processes and sales schemes.
  • Make informed financial decisions to achieve the best possible sales price and meet budgets on time.
About You To be successful in this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll already have/be;
  • Estate Agency qualification desirable
  • Proven experience in sales management, with a focus on sales progress tracking and coordination
  • Success in residential estate agency services equivalent to the level of Sales Manager/Regional Sales Manager
  • Experience in selling within the retirement sector is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and understanding of customer and data confidentiality.
  • Experience working with older people is desirable.

  • Lead generation and proven track record in closing sales
  • Relationship management and strong negotiation skills
  • Clear communication and responsiveness to questions and requirements
  • Computer and technology literacy
  • Ability to empathize with older people.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation relating to estate agency services
  • Knowledge of resales and estate agent-type service
  • Knowledge of effective sales and marketing techniques

  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
  • Previous experience working in a housing or retirement housing sales/resales environment.
