We are seeking individuals with an eye for detail and the ability to excel when timelines are tight. You will work within our growing Sales Operations team to support the sales process of our sales organization. If you like the energy of a fast-paced sales team and love working in the details, you are the person we need.

We are looking to add a Sales Operations Analyst for our high-performing Sales Operations team. Ultimately, this role will become a first point of contact for the regional sales organization to support in all aspects of Apptio\xe2\x80\x99s end-to-end internal sales processes. We look for each member of our Sales Operations team to become the primary subject-matter-expert supporting our sales team in overcoming sales process and customer challenges.

Responsibilities

Order Management

  • Work cross-functionally as an advisor with sales, legal, and accounting in the creative structuring process of sales orders.
  • Manage the internal approval process for complex orders.
  • Process, review and maintain data integrity of sales orders for completeness and accuracy per company guidelines.
Data Management & Analysis
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requests for sales and leadership team.
  • Maintain Salesforce data cleanliness as our ultimate source of truth through execution of proactive review cadences, SFDC reporting and dashboard creation and monitoring.
  • Work collaboratively to own EMEA account hygiene on an ongoing basis.
Project Management & Enablement
  • Work with leadership and cross-functional groups to collaborate and implement on major sales-related projects.
  • Proactively search for areas to improve, streamline and scale using data, process, and systems analysis.
  • Document and enable sales reps on process changes, Salesforce.com, our quoting system and other sales tools used.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years experience in a Sales Operations, Deal Desk, or Finance role.
  • Strong Salesforce.com experience
  • Execution experience with territory planning and similar sales-related projects.
  • Ability to learn new tools and applications quickly.
  • Demonstrating high-level problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Inclined to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Flexible work hours during peak demand
  • Be able to work within a fast paced environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor Degree or higher degree from a University.
  • Understanding of Quote to Cash procedures ideal.
  • A basic understanding of Finance and Revenue Recognition guidelines in deal structuring.
  • Previous experience working with sales at a SaaS based company.
  • Have a solid understanding of the sales process techniques and strategies.
