We now wish to appoint a Sales Manager to oversee the management of our Agronomy and Forage sales team.

The Role:

Based in Moira and reporting to the Agronomy and Forage Services Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day management of the Agronomy and Forage Sales team;
Leading, supporting and motivating the Agronomy and Forage sales team to increase sales and market share of cereal seed, grass seed, ag-chemical, granulated lime, fertiliser, forage additives, feed supplements and technical services to new and existing customers.

The Person:

Candidates will be educated to degree level in agriculture, agricultural science, crop production or a related discipline and have 5 years sales management experience in a fastmoving commercial environment;
A comprehensive understanding of the agricultural industry in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland;
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and excellent communication and negotiation skills;
Have an excellent business acumen with commercial focus and be able to deliver on targets;
Have a proven record of providing high levels of customer service and support;
Ideally have previous experience of leading, managing and motivating a sales team;
Ideally be a qualified BASIS and FACTS Adviser.
