Job Description
200 SVS is a luxury, 5-star events and conference venue located in the Heart of Glasgow. We are well-known for hosting various functions, from small family celebrations to large corporate events, always delivering high-quality service. Our plan for 2024 and beyond is to build on our success and appoint an experienced Sales Manager to help drive our venue to the next level.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager who has worked in the hospitality industry and is eager to develop their career with us.
The role will involve:
- Generating leads and following up
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
- Positive, self-motivated, \xe2\x80\x98can-do\xe2\x80\x99 attitude
- Excellent team player while able to use your initiative to complete tasks by deadlines
- Achieve KPIs as agreed in line with priorities during the training period, for example, meeting customer query response times, etc.
- Provide the first point of contact for all customer queries
- Produce quotes and follow up on quotes as required
- Build long-term relationships with customers, including prestigious customer brands
- Calling back all inquiries via our website
- Working with the Marketing department to ensure full exposure to the market
- Other duties as required
- A strong corporate background would be an advantage
The role is full-time, 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the work, some flexibility will be required, and it is based in our stylish city centre offices.
