So, what\'s my mission?
Reporting in to the Regional Sales Manager and with their full training and support you\'ll develop new business opportunities and nurture the existing business relationships on the patch. Your keen eye for detail and commercial awareness coupled with your experience in reporting and planning will stand you in great stead as you take this patch from strength to strength. With a wide range of customers, from contractors to merchants and house builders, you\'ll have a natural curiosity and tenacity that will help you to build relationships and develop business opportunities.
Specification forms a large part of the role so an understanding of the specification sales cycle is advantageous. You may have worked in a similar industry in a different role or be looking for your first job on the path to your career in sales, but a passion for sales and customer service is crucial. You\'ll be responsible for the promotion of early pre-tender engagement, and you\'ll prepare and present project related value propositions and solutions. The job will include attending regular meetings across your region, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts to support with planning.
