Job Description


An opportunity for an experience Sales Ledger Team Ledger within a secure team, overseeing the Sales Ledger function. You will work closely with the Management Accountant, ensuring smooth processing, and that the team are supported, therefore prior experience managing a small team is preferred.

They would consider those who have strong sales ledger experience who are looking to take a step up, if they have previously mentored and assisted other colleagues in previous posts.

You will have the opportunity to work hybrid (3/2 day split)

This is a 15 month fixed term contract offering a competitive salary & other benefits

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing a small team of Sales Ledger Assistants
  • Assisting day to day tasks within the team
  • Overseeing credit control
  • Debt chasing (internal and external)
  • Invoice queries
  • Checking and posting invoices in the event of software issues
  • Assisting the Financial Controller/Accounts Assistant in month end close where required
  • Allocating and posting daily cash receipts
  • Preparing technician revenue reports for major accounts weekly
  • Preparing franchisee revenue reports for major accounts weekly
  • Process improvement and efficiencies
  • Ad hoc reporting as required
