Our client is one of the leading logistics and transportation companies in the UK and Europe. They are committed to providing top-tier freight services, including Express and standard road transport across the UK and Europe, and worldwide Air and Sea freight solutions.
The Role:
They are seeking an accomplished sales professional ready to excel in promoting both sea and road freight services from day one. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client\'s business across the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively canvassing and promoting their freight services throughout the UK.
- Offering a comprehensive range of services, including Express, Standard road transport, Air, and Sea freight solutions.
- Identifying and pursuing sales leads through cold calls and networking.
- Establishing and nurturing strong customer relationships through meetings and identifying business opportunities.
- Prior experience in roles such as Sales Executive, Sales Advisor, Sales Consultant, Business Development Executive, or similar positions.
- Previous background in the sale of freight, logistics, or transportation services.
- A strong sales drive, coupled with dedication to achieving targets.
- Confidence in challenging situations to drive business growth.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
- A self-motivated and professional team player with an organised work approach.
