Due to continued expansion, GWF Ltd has a new position available for a Sales Director to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time role required for driving sales growth of our water, wastewater and industrial flow metering technologies, as well as our new digital solutions portfolio. Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will be responsible for our existing sales team and will also work closely with GWF Group functional team members in Switzerland and Germany in areas including technical support, marketing and product management. This role will be based at our UK sales office though regular sales and marketing related travel is anticipated.
GWF's water & wastewater metering and solution portfolios are designed to enable customers to reduce operating costs, meet regulatory requirements, improve customer service, support environmental monitoring, and help prevent pollution incidents. The portfolio and our capabilities is expected to expand.
Your responsibilities
Achieve targets set and agreed with GWF leadership
Generate new business opportunities from new and existing customers
Develop new relationships with key partners able to support our growth objectives
Build and manage a sales pipeline adequate to meet revenue objectives
Deliver against aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Build strong working relationships with customer key stakeholders and influencers
Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an on-going basis
Explore new and disruptive sales models (such as performance based contracts and/or shared savings)
Work with advisors and consultants to help secure GWF solutions as preferred offerings
Lead the preparation of tenders and proposals and present solutions effectively
Help GWF be the customer's top choice for wastewater and industrial metering solutions
We value
A track record of successful sales and/or business development in a similar role
An in-depth knowledge of the water flow measurement industry, related products, services and/or customer segments
Experience with wastewater sector technologies and processes including MCERTS requirements
Experience with non-revenue water and associated leakage reduction solutions in the utility sector
Familiarity working with utility & related Tier 1/ Tier 2 civil engineering contractors, industrial customers & business partners
Understanding of CDM industry, regulations & environment
Required
A full driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
Willingness to work flexibly, travel nationwide including occasional overnight stays
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Powerpoint and Excel
