The Role:
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team and help us generate leads for Tekla software in the UK. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for identifying potential customers, nurturing them, and passing them on to the sales team.
Using a database that is a combination of existing clients, business leads developed from tradeshows and word of mouth within the industry, you will qualify and develop potential new business leads and support the sales team in winning that business.
As one of our SDR\xe2\x80\x99s you must be resilient and solutions focused, Tekla is a World-leading software within Civils and Construction with a great name in the industry which does open doors but as with all sales roles, you will need to showcase the value that Tekla\xe2\x80\x99s software can offer potential new business. Being able to multitask and manage your diary to follow up with leads in a timely fashion will be key.
There is strong scope for development and career growth as our SDR, as you gain experience in the position and begin shadowing the sales team, there will be the opportunity to grow into a more senior sales roles or possible account manager role in the future.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research and identify potential customers for Tekla software in the UK.
Qualify potential leads by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making process.
Nurture potential leads through email, phone calls, and social media to build a relationship with them and generate interest in Tekla software.
Schedule product demos and other meetings for the sales team with qualified leads.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of leads to the sales process.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or a similar role in a B2B sales environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to research and identify potential customers and decision-makers.
Good understanding of sales and marketing techniques.
Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Experience using a CRM and other sales tools.
Knowledge of the construction industry or related fields is an advantage.
