The role
To manage the sales operations for Seasoned by motivating and leading the Sales Team of Sales & Events Executives, Marketing & Business Development Managers, creating and implementing strategic sales plans and building and developing enduring external & internal customer relationships.
To identify, target, and cultivate relationships to develop to contract stage, sole contractual opportunities for Seasoned and to grow and develop our fixed contracted site portfolio.
Provide timely reports and information as required by the Senior Partner/Managing Director and Board of Directors for the Company.

Management:
Identifying and addressing training needs for all staff in conjunction with H.O.D's.
Agreeing and setting aims and objectives with H.O.D's. in line with the sales & marketing plans.
Ensure that the personal development of individuals is monitored to maximise their benefit to the business.
To hold regular meetings (weekly) with H.O.D's. and in turn ensure the cascading of information to promote a culture of empowerment and inclusion in the decision-making process to all employees.
To attend training and personal development courses as requested by the company ensuring full and active participation.
To ensure that sales targets are met without detriment to client spend per head. To increase client spend per head working with H.O.D's.
Duties and Tasks:
Develop strategic sales and marketing plans and execute in partnership with the sales managers and the marketing team to achieve sales targets.
Develop through your own research a portfolio of potential contract clients, by calling them, market research and through face to face meetings.
Lead and motivate the Sales & Marketing teams to develop customer relations, increase market share and sales revenue.
Design programmes to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Ensure ISO9001 standards and the Customer Journey are maintained within the Sales Team, through ongoing auditing to the standards Seasoned have set out.
To proactively generate new business for Seasoned from corporate clients, agents, hospitality organisers or any other source that will bring in new revenue streams for Seasoned.
Oversee sales team recruitment and creating training programmes to train new and existing employees in the sales department.
Understand and communicate the company's value propositions and processes through proposals and presentations.
Monitoring supply and demand, competitor offers and costs to determine and adjust selling prices.
Forecasting and creating annual sales targets for individual contracted venues to determine sales objectives.
Analyse market trends to ensure Seasoned stays at the forefront on the events industry.
To assist on tender opportunities for the company all the way through the process including the final presentations.
Use marketing, entertaining and actual events hosted by Seasoned to entertain potential clients with contractual opportunities.
Assist with the preparation and submission of bids and tenders, ensuring they align with client requirements and showcase our strengths effectively.
Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor benchmarking to refine our positioning for contractual opportunities.
Utilise market research and industry insights to identify opportunities.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and presentations that highlight our unique value proposition.
Provide regular reporting and updates on sales activities, pipeline and performance against targets.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of all the services within our market sector.
Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products.
Sales, Customers and Client:
Ensuring a high standard of service and customer service is delivered at all times.
Analyse client and venue feedback and other client feedback, ensure in conjunction with the SeniorPartner/Managing Director that we address service issues and develop standards and products in line with customer needs. Respond to and resolve customer complaints within set time frames.
Attend client meetings, food tasting and site visits when required.
Recommend modifications to systems and practices to improve customer service.
Liaise with the clients and their staff to ensure a good relationship is maintained and developed.
Administration:
Provide time-phased, qualified reports on achievement and activities on a quarterly basis.
Plan diary to make effective use of working day.
Maintain accurate records of all contacts and conversations with clients (Sales report and summary reports).
Keep database of both new and past contractual opportunities to ensure we have accurate data to ensure we develop relationships in a timely manner.
Maintain relationships with ongoing opportunities.
Report to the Seasoned senior management team at each sales meetings activities and achievements.
Targets:
Undertake a minimum of 50 proactive calls per week to potential new contract clients.
Undertake a minimum of 5 site visits per week with potential contract clients.
Financial Reporting and Planning:
Financial forecasting, setting prices, monitoring and agreeing targets with the Senior Partner/Managing Director and conveying those to the team. Roll out KPI's to all Seasoned sales teams.
Ensure Group procedures on ordering of goods and services are followed.
To optimise profitability.
To ensure unit turnover and profit targets are met.
To assist and advise the Senior Partner/Managing Director in the setting of annual sales budgets and present these to clients in a professional manner once agreed.
To provide timely reporting for all operations, such reports to present actuals/forecast/variances recovery plans, action plans, pricing or any other financial report required.
Set budgets for new venues/contracts.
Communication:
To communicate effectively with clients, verbally, face to face and in writing.
Responsible for holding and recording client and management meetings.
Responsible for communicating weekly activities via weekly reports.
Responsible for effectively communicating with staff on all levels.
General and Other Duties:
Undertake any reasonable duties as dictated by either the Senior Partner/Managing Director that are within skills and capabilities

Maintain high standard of personal presentation.
Undertake all responsibilities with reference to Crown Partnership procedures.
Ensure safe working area and work procedures in line with Company's.
Obtain necessary authority for expenses and record in line with Company Policy.
Human Resources
Ensure that staff adhere to current legislation as and when required as well as direction and guidance from the HR Department.
Ensure that company policies are also followed.
Be responsible for ensuring that staff are motivated, appraised and trained.
Conduct grievance and disciplinary meetings as and when required. Be instrumental in terms of investigation procedure.
Keep updated records either through Fourth directly or advise HR to update, staff sickness, holidays & absence.
Ensure all staff holidays are taken through the year and alongside the business needs.
Liaise with HR on any issues and always ask advice.
