Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customers feel valued. Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is displayed attractively. Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including cash handling and processing returns. Respond to customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Participate in stock management, including receiving deliveries, restocking shelves, and conducting inventory checks.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Strong organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise responsibilities effectively. Bilingual or multilingual skills are advantageous, particularly proficiency in Spanish or other languages alongside English, enhancing communication with diverse customers. A passion for sales and the ability to sell effectively while building rapport with customers.
