We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support throughout the sales of our cars and vans . This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Mechanical knowledge would be a big advantage.

Duties

Assist customers in identifying their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs. Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked. Process transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively. Proven ability to sell products and services while fostering strong customer relationships. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities, particularly in Spanish or other languages, are highly desirable. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Highly organised with attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
