Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team, engaging with customers, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Candidates must be over 18 , fully flexible, able to work 7 days a week including weekends and evenings when required, to help cover other colleague holiday and sickness, if required.

Duties

- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales area, ensuring products are well-displayed.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person with excellent phone etiquette.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve store performance.
- Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while providing outstanding customer service.

Skills

- Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions and calculations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to sell products and services through effective persuasion techniques.
- Proficient in English, with a clear understanding of phone etiquette when interacting with customers.
- Strong organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory effectively.
