Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to engage with customers. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our store. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing inventory, and ensuring the sales floor is well-organised.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Utilise basic maths skills to handle transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed attractively. Communicate effectively with customers, providing information about products and promotions. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while providing exceptional service. Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and conducting stock checks. Support team members in achieving sales targets and maintaining a positive work environment.

Requirements

Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous (multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply). Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for helping others. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as required.

Pay: 22,880.00-23,000.00 per year
