Job Description
Celtic Craft Centre are traditional artisan kiltmakers, specialising in handsewn kiltmaking for over 45 years. We provide bespoke made to measure kilts and outfits and connect people with their family tartans.
This is a thrilling time of growth for the Celtic Craft Centre, and as such, we have exciting and new opportunities for sales assistants to join our close-knit team on a permanent basis.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for ensuring that all customers are welcomed and approached in a friendly and helpful manner. Taking the customers name to find their connection to their Scottish heritage, their tartan and what we can offer them.
Our customer service and our dedication to providing accurate information and the fast pace of our shop demand that attention to detail and professionalism remain at the heart of our business at all times.
This role is based in our store down Paisley close, off the Royal mile.
Duties:
Ensure that all customers are welcomed and treated with respect and kindness Handling calls Accepting & managing deliveries Teaching the customers about their options and assisting with decision making Taking precise measurements of customers Engaging customers in talks about their Scottish Heritage Having an awareness of stock attributes and features and using this knowledge to promote our products Replenishment and maintenance of stock General housekeeping and daily operational duties
Experience:
Knowledge of Scottish culture, or a desire to learn Proven experience in a similar, customer facing role not necessary but a bonus Team working and collaboration Good communication over all levels Flexibility Precise timekeeping
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.45 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift Day shift Every weekend Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
