Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales transactions, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective time management, and the ability to communicate clearly in both English and Spanish. A passion for sales and the ability to upsell products will be essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed. Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations. Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply). Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. A proactive attitude towards selling and upselling products is highly desirable.

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
