Tube and Steel Supplies Ltd (TSS), a privately-owned steel stockholder based in Newport, South Wales, was established in 1999. In recent years, TSS has experienced exponential growth in its glazed balustrade installation division, a key area that this role will support.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Salesperson, ideally from the construction sector. This professional will play a pivotal role in our organisation, working in a dynamic team and contributing to our continuous growth and success. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding and nurturing our client base and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a crucial role within our glazed balustrade installation team, operating in both commercial and domestic markets.
Key requirements:
Full UK driving license
At least 2 years sales experience
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to work independently, organising one's own workload and tasks while demonstrating excellent initiative.
Proficiency in using IT system, including Outlook, Word, CRM, and out sales software (training provided
)

Construction sector experience
Responsibilities:
Proactively generate new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, cold emails, and timely follow-ups, while maintaining and updating the prospect database to support ongoing sales activity
Engage with customers to understand their needs, respond to enquiries, resolve concerns, and provide relevant information via phone and email
Clearly explain, demonstrate, and promote the features, benefits, and additional products or services to prospective clients through effective upselling techniques
Log and distribute tender documents to relevant team members efficiently
Schedule and coordinate site surveys in collaboration with internal teams and clients
Monitor project progress against key milestones and timelines to ensure timely delivery
Provide administrative support and communication to project teams to ensure smooth project execution
Compile and deliver reports on lead activity, sales pipeline status, and other performance metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure a smooth workflow and positive customer experience
Create and publish engaging content across social media platforms to support marketing initiatives
