Job Description

We are seeking a Rust Engineering Manager to join our partners who develop a cutting-edge encryption solution, tackling the industry\'s core security challenge.

It enables persistent encryption, even in case of a leak, mitigating cyber threats, legal risks, and reputational damage. Enterprises can process and compute data at scale without compromising encryption keys or server-side decryption.

The successful Rust Engineering Manager will join their SDK team to help deliver the market\'s most secure and user-friendly data security solutions. You will manage people but also step in to contribute to the codebase when required.

You will manage a team that will:

• Drive innovation and develop high-quality security products, prioritising reliability, and security
• Design, develop and maintain software development kits (SDKs) and web applications
• Create front-end and back-end architecture for robust and scalable solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software across various levels of the technology stack
• Contribute to the advancement of technological standards, tooling, and processes within the company
• Collaborate with a diverse team of front-end, back-end, and QA developers

To be a strong candidate for this Rust Engineering Manager vacancy, you will have:

• Management experience across multiple teams (minimum 15 people)
• Experience in Rust
• Exposure to other technologies (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Flutter, Python, C++ or C#)
• Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, Docker, and CI/CT build and test automation.
• Knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL)
• Proficiency in IDEs (IntelliJ, VS Code, or Visual Studio)
