This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Very High Readiness HQ supporting 9 units across the UK providing people expertise and acting as the central Point of Contact (POC) across many areas in relation to Civilian Management and Finance, working in a dynamic and exciting environment in support of the operationally active Commando Forces (Royal Marines). To become a Civil Service member of 3 Cdo Bde HQ, we are looking for a capable and motivated professional with the drive to actively support and improve the lived and worked experience of Military and Civil Service personnel.

Job description
Financial Management - Scrutiny of HQ Budget expenditure. Ensure the efficient management of financial resources. Structuring, scrutiny, and refinement of all Business Cases.
Civilian Point of contact for 9 Units plus HQ - on all Civilian matters including but not limited to recruitment, reporting, resignations, learning and development, performance, sickness, and discipline. Responsible for internal Civilian management and workforce planning.
Business Strategy, Resilience and Support - Lead on the development of 3Cdo Bde civilian transformation in support of CF Transformation 2027 and onwards. Responsible for internal Civilian management and workforce planning. Advising on process and policy in relation to civilian transformation and impacts, succession planning. Support Bde Senior leaders and Miliary workforce team with future transformation as required.
Commercial Procurement - Provide advice and signpost as required on all procurement matters and raising commercial awareness Support the process for Auction Prizes for annual events and external activities/agreements are correctly abated and contracted for working with stakeholders NC Commercial and Finance Teams. Ensure procurement route offers the best solution in terms of Value for Money (VfM) and meeting the user requirement. Scrutiny and advice of Business Cases and completion of Purchase Order request documents for approval by the appropriate authority. Provide advice on all procurement matters and raising commercial awareness.
