Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists are excited to announce we are expanding our Patient Care Assistant team and recruiting for a driven and enthusiastic Rotating Patient Care Assistant. In this role, as a Rotating PCA you will have the opportunity to develop and grow your skills in a supportive and friendly referral veterinary hospital. Here at AMVS we continue to support our associates with continuous development programs and we champion internal career progression opportunities.


This is a permanent full-time position working 40h per week with participation in the on call rota.


As a Rotating PCA you will be exposed to a variety of elements relating to the preparation and care of our patients. This includes

In-patient care to include exercising, feeding, and grooming of hospitalized patients Sterilising surgical equipment Assisting the nursing team in handling patients Preparing the patients for surgery Keeping all patients areas organised and clean.

We are looking for a passionate individual who will strive to maintain the highest clinical and professional standards. You will be working in a fast paced team that requires a great eye for detail, patient care and time management.


This is a hands on role, and although experience working with animals is beneficial, it is not essential as formal training will be provided.

You can find us in Hampshire, just south of Winchester, close to the M3 and national and international transport links. We are in a serene countryside setting with state-of-the-art facilities and are available to look after pets 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
