Nursery: Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary: \xc2\xa328,100.80 - \xc2\xa336,649.60 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Location: Teddington, London

We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road Nursery, situated a two minutes walk from Teddington Station and High-street.

Our Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road is Ofsted rated \'Outstanding\' and offers a large, landscaped garden, with a sandpit, racing track, climbing frame and so much more!

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

• Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
• Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
• Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
• Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
• Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for

• Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar
• Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
