Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Roofer to join our team and specialize in solar panel installations. The ideal candidate will have strong roofing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work safely at heights while ensuring high-quality solar installations.

Key Responsibilities

Install solar panel mounting systems on various roof types (tile, slate, metal, and flat roofs). Ensure all roofing work is watertight and structurally secure. Collaborate with electricians and solar engineers to complete installations efficiently. Conduct roof assessments and identify potential challenges before installation. Safely remove and replace roof materials as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including working at heights and manual handling procedures. Maintain tools and equipment to a high standard.

Requirements

Previous experience as a roofer, preferably with solar panel installation experience. Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. Knowledge of different roofing materials and techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Valid CSCS/PASMA card (preferred). Working at Heights certification (preferred). Full UK driving licence.

Pay: 14.43-19.23 per hour
