Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of roofing systems and be capable of performing various tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems including flat, pitched, and tiled roofs. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete roofing tasks. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications. Perform heavy lifting as required when handling materials such as shingles, tiles, and insulation. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards. Fabricate components as necessary for specific roofing projects. Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or areas needing repair. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Chimney demolition gutter and fascia installation Carry out roof maintenance on emergency call outs

Experience

Time served roofer Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe handling of materials is required. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools specific to roofing tasks is necessary. Experience reading schematics and blueprints is advantageous. A strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role. Be willing to undertake further tasks when required i.e minor brick work ect Excellent communication and time keeping skills

Pay: From 16.50 per hour
