Ganymede Solution is currently recruiting for a Rolling Stock Electrical Modification Technician to join a leading train operation company in Ashford, Kent for an initial 6-month contract. This is an existing project with the scope of a long-term placement for the successful candidate.

Ganymede Solution has team up with one of the UK\xe2\x80\x99s busiest train network operators. The are a leading organisation in train transport innovation with services across the Southeast and Sussex.

THE CANDIDATE

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK\xe2\x80\x99s most innovative train operating companies as a Rolling Stock Electrical Modification Technician. The idea candidate should have a Level 3 Engineering qualification with prior experience on working on rolling stock electrical projects is highly desired although this is not essential as individual with background in other fields will be considered.

The Role

We are currently looking for an individual with a high level of performing electrical modifications on rolling stock fleets. You will be carrying out modifications on passenger info systems, point to point test as well as USB and seat power upgrades. The shift pattern covers a day shift of Mon-Fri 6am to 4pm and nights shifts of Sun-Thurs, 6pm to 4am with the option of overtime available at the discretion of the management.

Rates of Pay

Day Shift (Mon-Fri)- \xc2\xa327.33p/h

Night Shift (Sun-Thurs)- \xc2\xa330.37

This is inside IR23 on an umbrella set up.
