Job Title: Registered Nurse - RNLD / RNMH

Location: Cromwell House, West Bromwich

Salary: 20.30 per hour

Hours: Full Time / Part Time / Bank

We offer 24-hour care for men and women with severe and enduring mental illness, mild learning disabilities, and patients with forensic histories. We operate two care homes: Cedar Lodge in Nuneaton and Cromwell House in West Bromwich.

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating exceptional skills in medication administration and a solid understanding of anatomy. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history. Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

:

Valid registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience in medication administration and patient care. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Empathy and compassion towards patients, ensuring their dignity is upheld at all times. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
