As a
Salomon District Manager
, you will oversee a portfolio of Brand Stores and Factory Outlets in Paris and the UK, ensuring optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and alignment with company goals.
Your primary responsibility is to drive sales growth, enhance the customer experience, and maintain operational excellence by managing a team of store managers and associates.
You will be the key point of contact between the corporate office and the stores, ensuring that company policies, procedures, and standards are met consistently across your district.
As a key member of the Salomon Global Operations Team, you will be in charge of:
Financials and P&L Goals Achievement
Manage the district's financial performance, including budgets, P&L statements, and expenses
Implement cost-control and productivity efficiency measures while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction
Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management on district performance and actionable insights
Analyze sales performance across all stores in the district, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
Drive action plans to increase footfall, conversion rates, and average transaction values
People Management and Training
Recruit, hire, train, and develop store managers and associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Lead, coach, drive and inspire through performance feedback to store management teams, helping them achieve their goals and career aspirations including developing IDPs and PIP
Lead by example in providing in store support across operations, customer service and training
Create a culture of teamwork and collaboration across all stores in the district
Store Operations Excellence
Make regular store visits and daily reporting to understand the needs of the sales force and customers
Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficiency and guarantee compliance with company's policies & guidelines towards SOP, VM, MKTG, training and others
Monitor inventory levels to optimize product availability, minimize shrinkage, and ensure efficient stock turnover
Oversee the scheduling of staff to ensure optimal coverage
Oversee the planning of new store openings and post-opening phases
Customer Experience
Ensure a superior Customer Experience across all stores in your district by upholding company values, product expertise, and responsiveness to customer needs
Address customer complaints, issues, and concerns swiftly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate that is just as enthusiastic and passionate about Retail, Sneakers and Outdoor Sports as we are, but also someone who can bring in:
5+ years of successful multi-unit retail operational management experience
Multi country scope experiences are a plus
Education:
MA, BA (or equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration or similar degree
Foreign Language(s):
English fluent mandatory and French preferred
Skills:
Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
with demonstrated experience in recruiting and developing winning store teams
Good communication skills
