Job Overview
The Dunoon hotel is looking for a waiter or waitress to work in our AA two rosette restaurant and the Next Door restaurant. The role is working breakfast and dinner shifts and we have availability for either a full-time member of staff for the team (up to 40 hours a week ) or part-time (around 12-20) hours a week.
Duties
- Greeting customers and escorting them to their tables
- Presenting menus and explaining menu items
- Taking food and drink orders accurately
- Serving food and beverages promptly
- Providing recommendations and upselling specials
- Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
