We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to support the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all restaurant staff, including servers, bartender personnel, ensuring efficient operation and outstanding customer service.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in accordance with health regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations without overstocking.
- Develop and implement training programmes for new staff members to enhance their skills in food preparation, bartending, and customer service.
- Monitor financial performance by analysing sales reports, controlling costs, and implementing strategies to increase profitability.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create seasonal menus that reflect current trends while adhering to budget constraints.
Experience
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry is essential.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
- Experience in bartending or knowledge of beverage management is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
- A background in supervising kitchen operations or cooking is preferred but not mandatory.
