We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of Cuffs Bar & Grill. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall dining experience while driving the success of the restaurant. Cuffs Bar and Grill is open daily from 11am to 6pm with extended opening hours on Friday and Saturday to 8pm.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
Lead and manage a team of staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
Oversee kitchen operations, collaborating closely with culinary staff to ensure menu items are prepared to specification.
Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene regulations in compliance with local health authorities.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.
Develop and train staff through ongoing coaching and performance evaluations.
Prepare reports on restaurant performance, including sales figures and customer feedback.
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special events or menu changes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
A background in hotel management or culinary arts is desirable but not mandatory.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
