Our Restaurant manager is overall responsible for overseeing efficient and smooth day to day operating of the restaurant. This includes managing staff, rotas, ordering and managing stock. At all times ensuring a positive and good customer experience, whilst maintaining good financial performance.
. Key Responsibilities :-
Recruiting, hiring, training, and managing staff, including scheduling, personal reviews, and addressing employee issues.
Overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
Working alongside the kitchen and Head Chef to ensure smooth running.
Managing budgets, controlling costs, tracking expenses, and generating financial reports.
Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing complaints, providing excellent service, and creating a positive dining experience.
Ordering supplies, managing inventory levels, and minimizing waste.
Ensuring the restaurant adheres to all relevant licensing, health, and safety regulations.
Skills Required:
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate staff in sometimes busy conditions.
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, staff, suppliers and management.
Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
Previous experience within the catering and hospitality trade essential, ideally within a management role.
