Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food preparation and production, and maintaining food safety standards while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Oversee food preparation and production processes to guarantee compliance with health and safety regulations. Train, mentor, and manage restaurant staff, including cooks and bartenders, to enhance their skills and performance. Assist in menu planning and development, collaborating with culinary staff to create innovative dishes that appeal to customers. Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a satisfactory resolution that enhances guest experience. Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract new customers. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment in accordance with health regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation and production. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Proficient in culinary techniques with a passion for food presentation and quality. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage positively with customers and staff alike. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: 38,000.00-40,000.00 per year
