Restaurant Manager, TQ7 Kingsbridge, \xc2\xa338,000 + performance related bonus, accommodation available

This beautiful, family owned freehouse, based in the stunning South Devon countryside, showcases local, sustainably food using produce from their own farm as well as local producers and fishermen from the surrounding area.
The restaurant offers a lunch and dinner service with a traditional Sunday roast. There is also an outside grill running in the summer months over lunchtime.

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be

• Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the pub, bar & cellar
• Constantly developing and evolving the products and services available
• Maintaining stock (including all bar orders & stock takes)
• Responsible for all technology within pub, including till operations and pricing, card payments, phone and back of house equipment
• Liaising with the accounts team for weekly banking, paying in and invoice queries
• Communicating with the kitchen team with regards to menus, bookings and special events
• Managing all staff training and development
• Involved in driving the business forward

• An experienced Restaurant Manager with a proven work history within high quality restaurants or hotels
• A strong manager with the ability to work as part of a team and hands on in all areas
• Confident and professional in resolving customer issues and complaints
• Genuinely passionate about food and customer service
• An effective communicator with strong organizational skills
• A people person with the ability to build a rapport with locals, regulars, VIPs and suppliers
• Flexible and willing with a positive manner
