We are seeking a Head Chef who has a passion for creating exceptional food and lasting memories. This role requires experience managing a professional kitchen, controlling labour and food costs and developing menus.
The Head Chef will be responsible for building on what we have achieved. To do this we require someone who is willing to start by learning and understanding our restaurant and our style of food service.
They then must be able to provide guidance and support to his or her kitchen team. A successful candidate will be able to stay calm under pressure and meet the demands of a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards.
The ability to clearly communicate with both fellow back of house staff as well as the front of house team is essential, especially in regards to allergy concerns.
You must have a proven history of meeting KPIs and be able to work within our structure to provide menus and specials in advance.
You will be responsible to managing a team of at least 5, ensuring that all aspects of the kitchen are operating smoothly.
Ensure compliance with all applicable HCCAP and Food Safety Standards policies and procedures keeping up to date with both the local food and health laws as well as best practices.
You must be able to effectively manage allergens and reduce risk of cross-contamination wherever possible to ensure guest safety.
