Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and team management, ensuring that our kitchen and dining areas run smoothly. This role requires excellent supervisory skills, as well as the ability to assist in food preparation and maintain high standards of service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards before serving. Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock. Train and mentor new team members, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Ensure that all areas of the restaurant are clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for exceptional service delivery. Collaborate with management to develop menus and special promotions that enhance customer experience.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel setting is essential. Proven background in food production and preparation techniques. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in bartending is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
