Job Summary

We have opened Glasgows first authentic smokehouse experience and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant AGM to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food preparation, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service between the floor and also the bar. Manage and train restaurant staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food standards. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to maintain a positive dining experience. Oversee social media & customer responses & reviews Stock & order management Rotas

Skills

Strong background in hospitality management with experience in restaurant operations. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to helping others create memorable experiences.
