Responsible Individual - Children's Residential Services
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: 60,000 + benefits
Contract: Full-time Permanent

Are you an experienced and passionate leader in children's residential care? We're seeking a Responsible Individual (RI) to help shape and oversee a new, high-quality children's provision in South Yorkshire. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our service meets the highest standards of care, compliance, and safeguarding as we launch and grow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation with a strong reputation in adult care, now expanding into children's services.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the strategic development and operational delivery of our children's services
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
Support and supervise Registered Manager
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and child-centred practice
Requirements:
Proven experience as an RI or senior leader in children's residential care
Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted frameworks
Passionate about safeguarding, outcomes, and making a lasting impact
