Working as part of a professional team to promote and provide the highest standard of care for young people.
Communicating effectively with children and young people and understand and empathise with their needs.
Empowering young people to grow into confident and resourceful young adults who understand and take responsibility for their own behaviours.
Communicate effectively with multi agencies within the social care sector, ensuring the transparency of the company is delivered consistently throughout.
Offering advice, guidance and signpost to other organisations they can access.
Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour.
Knowledge of the main issues effecting young people today.
Supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Helping promote a stimulating, caring and culturally appropriate environment for the young people.
Providing practical and emotional support to young people.
Demonstrating empathy, compassion, resilience and positive parenting skills even under challenging conditions.
Work closely with young people, their families and professionals.
Organising and facilitating social activities and health appointments.
Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning, shopping etc.).
You be organised, committed and passionate about the work you do.
All applicants must have a valid full manual UK/EU driving licence and be over the age of 21 (in accordance with The Children's Homes England) Regulations 2015).
