Job Description

Residential Support Workers - Children (maternity cover for fixed term of approx 6 months)






Pay up to 32,533.16 - 34,127.16 (inclusive of sleep-ins - average of 7 per month)



Shift and schedule Shift work (long days) including some weekends and sleep ins

What will you be doing?



As a Residential Support Worker you will be promoting Carbrey's vision and values as you support the registered manager and the wider team in providing excellent care. Each day, you will help create a place where children can thrive; one that's warm, welcoming, safe and calm. Here you will help the children make sense of their past, current, and future circumstances and provide every opportunity for children to achieve their outcomes.




What will you bring?



Ideally we are looking for someone who is


experienced working with children who have suffered trauma and passionate about improving their lives

able to develop positive relationships with children, young people, their families and the professionals around them

energetic, resilient, patient, confident and proactive in their approach

a team player

able to maintain accurate records using their excellent IT skills

Level 3 Diploma in Residential childcare (or equivalent) - if you don't have this, we will support you to achieve this.



You will also need to have a full UK Driving Licence for manual cars and be over the age of 22



Whilst previous experience is desirable, we welcome people who are looking for a career change but can demonstrate the right values and aptitudes.
